Default Mugen Hardtop

I recently bought my Mugen hardtop last last month and I have been getting air that is coming in through the front. I tried to to readjust it, but that didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas what else I can do?

i did this when i had my ap1...go to your local hardware store and go to the weather stripping department. theres a roll of silicone "tubing" that has doublesided tape. buy that...cut the length necessary to run along the front part of the hardtop and stick it on. reinstall the hardtop. the weatherstripping bascially fills in the gap between the hardtop and windshield frame and it looks OEM

Wow, didn't realize mugen hardtops didn't seal correctly. Are they missing some trim that comes with oem ones? Or is it just a matter of their dimensions not be 100% correct?

I've read that you can use this on the rubber seal and it causes the rubber to swell back up from being squished down for so long. I'd guess it really depends on how big of a gap there is though. This may help for just a small gap, but the weatherstripping idea sounds like it would work better for a larger gap.

I bought mine brand new and it came from Mugen with weatherstripped double sided tape for the front of the hardtop, no wind issues.

No creaks or rattles after adjusting and tightening the bolts. Beautiful and OEM fitment.

Dude i don't think they put that weatherstripped double sided tape in mine. The fitment is near perfect and in the instructions after looking at them again it does show something you have to put there.
