Default Mugen 04+ Exhaust

I bought the Mugen 04+ exhaust for my 06' s2k . I haven't installed it yet. There's a couple of question I want to ask about the mugen 04+ exhaust and for those who have it please chime in and shed some insights. First off, how does the exhaust sound with stock intake, headers, and cat? For those who have after market bolt on following the mugen 04+ exhaust, does it change the sound significantly? Does it make it louder? Sound differently? I heard that the sound gets deeper, and sounds much more orgasmic the more you drive it. Any opinions, advices would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Install it. You won't be disappointed with the nice sound.

Its a nice exhaust. Intake will not change the sound of it, a header will make it change the note a little bit but not much and a test pipe will change the pitch the most (make it sound a little more throaty and deeper).

It's the best exhaust no matter what you add to it.

I have it on mine and love the look and sound.
It is a bit loud than the earlier Mugen but a nice rumble.
Mine is a slightly different sound due to the super charger.

I installed the mugen exhaust today and I came across the rubber hanger that is in the middle of the exhaust. I can't seem to connect that to the hanger on the exhaust because it's soo close to the can. So I decided not to use that hanger at all. There is a total of 4 hangers holding the exhaust up, 2 on each side and that's it. Any of you guys used the middle rubber hanger?

BTW... I have an 06' s2k, I heard that even with anti-foulers you can't stop the CEL from triggering when the testpipe is installed. Correct me if I'm wrong? Is there way that you can bypass it?

Its a great exhaust. I loved it when I had mine. You should be able to install with all hangars. As for the sound yes it will change after abou 5k miles mine was much louder but still not loud. I had it with mugen intake and header and the sound was great. As for the test pipe I was running a spoon with 2 antifoulers and never had a single problem.

I used all the rubber hangers except one. The one that is in the middle of the exhaust where the big can is. The hanger there seems to be so close to the can that I can't seem to slip the rubber on there. But even without this hanger everything is still sturdy. I just wanted to know if you guys use that or not and If it would be a problem if I didn't use it. Also, are you sure two anti-foulers will not trigger the CEL? I'm debating if I should get the T1R 63mm or the 70mm or the Berk testpipe.
