Metal popping in suspension
I am lowered on swift swings on stock shocks. So, I get this metal popping sound that comes from the rear when I go up a driveway/parking lot on an angle. This noise does not happen when I go overspeed bumps or if i go straight onto the driveway/parking lot. I notice it most when I angle to the right to go up on a driveway. Any thoughts what and where I should look at?

take it off, reseat the spring, put it back on. see if that helps.
i used to get the sound when i put my koni + espelirs in with my 18s, but i wouldn't get the sound when i switched back to stock wheels . ive also gotten that sound on another car i put in tein flexes for, then after a week or so we adjusted the ride height and the noise was gone i could never figure out what made it, but if it doesn't go away i wouldn't be too concerned.
thats assuming that it IS the same low popping noise that you're hearing?
other sources could be your CV boots (get driveshaft spacers), loose bolts, play in the suspension, dust covers, etc etc?

I'm getting the exact same symptoms except its from the front passenger side. Only on an incline when the car is uneven. I jacked the car up and took off the front wheel, used another jack to raise the rotor/suspension assembly, but I couldnt replicate the sound.
Gonna keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone can offer a reason for this?!!!!

I got one solved- mine was the OEM dust boot, the metal sleeve crushed so it would get caught on the shock.
doesn't solve my issue tho, because i dont have dust boots on my koni's im not getting the sound anymore tho so i guess everything's fine n good

I will check the rear sway when I have a chance this week. This OEM dust boot, its that the rubber piece that the springs sit on the bottom of the shock?

the dust boot is a metal collar with a slip on rubber sleeve - the metal collar on mine was bent/crushed just enough, so it would tap the shock as it compressed. I think i dented mine on my install
