Default Megan Racing header

This might not go here, but it is an aftermarket header. I was reading about the megan racing header and was wondering if it will fit the AP2. It says it will only work on the AP1, but i figure the bolts are the same. Could anyone help me on this. I dont feel like spending a lot of money on a header when i could get a megan racing for $300.

I had one on my MY04 and it didn't fit well the o2 sensor in the header itself touched the underbody heat shrouds. I took them out to try it but, when the motor flexed I was scared for my sensor and I got a weird buzz around 3.5K idk some ppl on here said there wasn't any probs with the fitment on a AP2 but I just wanted to let you know what happened with the Megan header on my car. Personally it is a well built header the welds are clean and the flange is thick just like stock it's a bit oversized compared to the stock manifold too and in the upper rpm range I noticed some power. For the price you can't go wrong, if it doesn't fit well you can easily resell it on here, Just hold onto your stock piece in case you run into any probs that's what I did. Also I realized Megan mass produces parts so maybe it was just a defect.

thanks for the suggestion. I might just buy it and like u said, resell it to an AP1 owner. What do you think of the megan racing test pipe?
