Wow... some of the comments on here are like a marketing person's wet dream.

To the OP, I can't speak about the cat, but I've worked with Magnaflow before and they make extremely good products for the price. The Magnaflow system will work very well on the S2000, and is even better engineered than many popular "JDM" brands. The exhaust note will be a little louder and deeper, but will be nowhere near the volume of some high-flow single-exit systems.
Just quoting you for Tjs S2K.

I put magna flows on my custom 3" turbo back and loooove the sound. It is imo the best sounding exhaust of all the s2000's I know of.

I had the stock mufflers replaced with Dynomax products at the local exhaust shop. The exhaust note was really low with stock resonator. It didn't sound very loud but it measured 102db at 50 feet on my car. That is the same decible rating as the Spoon N1 I'd swap onto the car for track days. Though if you ask me subjectively, the Spoon is ear bleeding louder since its note is a much higher pitch.

I have magnaflows on my s, and it sounds awesome and nets you good noticable gains. I had it custom made at an exhaust shop and cost me 200 bucks installed. Its extremely worth it

Are you using the stock resonator? If not what did you select?

I had the magnaflow kit that they sell. I removed it after our first day run because of the droning between 4000 and 5000 rpm

I don't have time to search for proof right now, but if I am not mistaken Comptech used Magnaflow mufflers for several Honda/Acura cars. Does anyone associate the name Comptech with Honda/Acura?

Can Meineke weld anything but mild steel? If you aren't getting all stainless steel, have fun replacing it again in a couple of years.
