MagnaFlow exhaust with FlowMaster Hushpower cat
I'm Considering installing a high flow exhaust on my S. I would like to know if anyone has experience how loud this exhaust package might be. Meineke, claims it will only be slightly louder than stock...

Meinke? your taking advice from guys that probably know 0 about your car?
So what are you trying to do flowmaster cat straight back to a magnaflow muffler in the rear? or you going to have some kind of middle muffler? perhaps another magnaflow muffler?
If its the 2nd one then it will probably be a little louder than stock. if its the first one its going to be like a invidia/skunk2 setup and probably have a good ammount of drone.

^^^^ im prttye sure the "quality" of magnaflow and flowmaster is pretty good. i think 80% of all trucks and muscle cars use exhaust parts and systems from either of those companies. quality wont be his issue it will be how the parts are used and who does the exhaust work.
if u want quieter then go with HFC, small mid muffler then a miffler and tip out the back.
otherwise just go with HFC run straight pipe to the back then throw a muffler at the end and call it a day but liek said before if you want to go with the louder set up just pick up a skunk2 or a invidia and save some headache

Think about it, Import brand name. Would you put an eddlebrock TB on you S? Or would you put a Js racing TB?

Wow... some of the comments on here are like a marketing person's wet dream.
To the OP, I can't speak about the cat, but I've worked with Magnaflow before and they make extremely good products for the price. The Magnaflow system will work very well on the S2000, and is even better engineered than many popular "JDM" brands. The exhaust note will be a little louder and deeper, but will be nowhere near the volume of some high-flow single-exit systems.
