Lowering springs... 15mm or 30mm?
Hi guys,
From past experience 30mm was a bit too low... i had an EP3 ad the car just scraped on everything.
I've just upgraded my AP1 wheels to 17" Rota Forces... do you guys think 15mm or 30mm will be better? Where i live in London i do have a lot of speed bumps etc and also my work car park has a ramp that may scrape.
So basically is 30MM a BIG drop?

would you like me to recommend a height that is "a bit too low" or a height where you will have trouble with speed bumps and scrape your ramp at the car park?

I said on my civic it was too low... but didn't know if maybe the S2K sat differently on a 30mm drop.

I found that 1.8-2" drop aka: 12.75 - 13" fender to hub is about the max functional lowering on this car, and that's fairly significant, its right about 1 finger gap, or slightly less in rear. I have to be careful with steeper off camber driveways taking on angle but don't have any issues with normal speed bumps. So with that, a 30mm drop should be totally fine. That's like a 2 finger gap.

The S2000 has less ground clearance than a civic from the factory. But...as a trade off, it's shorter.
I'm not sure what you're looking for here, though. And its not like you're planning on taking any advice....
