Default Loose springs on coilovers

Hi, I just installed a set of Stance coilovers and I just have a question about the springs after height adjustment. After I adjusted the height on the coilover, the spring itself has room to bounce around and seems loose. I was wondering if I was suppose to tighten something? or let it settle by itself. Oh yeah another thing, the instructions said to loosen and tighten the damper nut? but it seems like theres no end to tightening the nut. Thanks for viewing.

You probably setup the coilovers to a very "low" position this way the spring will be loose when it's on jack stands.. KW solves this problem with helper springs.. But i can be wrong...

IF you can keep turning the damper nut, you are probably turning the whole piston inside the damper along with it...

Again, i have no expierience with the stance coilovers.. only with others...

You just gotta turn the upper spring perch a couple rotations clockwise to preload the spring after a drastic drop. Doesn't take much. I just installed a set of Stance coil-overs as well. I'm liking them a lot.

After I turn the upper spring perch, would the springs still be loose?

Maybe, it depends.

If there is still a gap at full droop when you are adjusted to your proper rider height, then you definately need a set of tender springs (aka. helper springs, zero rate springs).
