Default Looking for CR Wing for AP2

I saw somewhere on a thread that someone got a CR wing for $375 but it was a long time ago. Hardtopguy sells it for $1k, which is way too much for my budget. Is there a place where i can get it cheaper? also is the seibon carbon one any good?
Thanks guys

A lot of money for a styling gimmick.

Definitely not a gimmick. Seibon piece is very quality. I got mine last month and its fit and finish is great. I felt the decrease in the floaty-ness of the rear at speeds over 70+ which was my whole purpose in buying it without going to a full size gt wing to stay within gridlife rules. The CR lip also helps balance it out.

I'd be shocked if it was an oem one with all the hardware for that cheap.

Thanks for the reply, definitely going to invest in both lip and wing. Also when buying the Seibon Carbon cr wing all i have to do is drill the holes and install it right? and it does it come with the trunk reinforcements?

What did you get with the Seibon wing and how did the fitment go?

Both the wing and lip have been proven to reduce lift.

The seibon wings don't come with trunk underside reinforcements panels(J's racing for example), you would need to order the correct OEM upper and lower trunk stopper parts if you are installing this wing or your trunk will warp/bend from the downforce. I know a dealer where you can get the RS0005HDS2K-TF - SEIBON Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler for about $565.25 shipped.

The CR wing is track proven:

Fitment was perfect. You get bolts to mount the wing to the stands and stands to the trunk. I reinforced the stand mounts to the trunk with fender washers and thin rubber washer under the stands to keep water out. I also used the OEM CR stoppers to keep the trunk from moving. The trunk and wing are solid..like REAL solid. Obviously the trunk has a heavier load on it and more than the support rods can hold up but it still unlocks and does the initial pop up ok. It will stay up at full open but as soon as it starts to go down "SLAM!"...watch your fingers. I will say have a plan of attack and cardboard to create a template. Im OCD and need everything perfect so I measured 20 times and drilled once.
