Default Looking For A Brake Duct Kit For AP1

Well I have been searching for a Brake Duct Kit to add to my AP1 and all the post I found referred to companies I could not find such as C&T. Is anyone making a kit with abs or fiberglass bumper adapters for 2.5" or 3" ducts with high quality hose and backing plate adapters that direct the air into the center of the rotor not the face?

I know there are plenty of DIY but I would rather buy one than go through the trouble for making the components I want. I just don't have the time or will to tackle it if I do not have to.

Thanks

This is the C&T set. He made very few of them before the infamous CTAE intake manifold. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=421692&st=0 Don't click this link unless you have time to laugh your ass off.

The company has been dissolved.

The dust shields were made of a special high temp resistant fiberglass. The final product flunked my Laguna Seca trial with R4 pads. Both front rotors cracked completely and needed replacement to drive. Two inch diameter tubing is apparently not enough volume for the cooling needed.

I am confused. Are you saying that the ducting somehow decreased the strength of the rotors, helped in some manner, or did nothing at all?

It was inadequate. If it had been adequate air flow the rotors should not have self destructed.

They would have destructed without the ducts, correct?

I'm curious about this as well, is it possible that they actually did the job well enough to cool the rotors and the heat-cycling resulted in the cracking?
