i have a 10lb by ACT(it came with car when i purchased it). i would recommend exedy(just because they produce most of the oem products for most cars). it is worth changing when your clutch is due. but if you are just going to change it, with just the flywheel, then no.

you should know what lighter flywheels do...as they supposedly increase torque and better acceleration. i recommend you try something maybe above 10lbs? the lighter it is, the more painful it is in bad traffic.

fidanza is rather cheap and affordable. but its too light. very bad for situations like traffic. i dont think getting a flywheel that light is good unless you think you can handle it. but yea..ACT is not bad..for if you get a clutch, i would always recommend getting exedy. Never ACT. my opinion on ACT for clutches are

ACT all the way. I have had nothing but great experience with them. I have an ACT clutch on my DSM(eclipse) and I had a 12 lb ACT flywheel. Both are great. Fidanza's are nice and cheap too, but are very light. The one I had was 8 lb and the rev's dropped extremely fast. Was nice but in stop and go traffic can drop too much and almost wanted to stall sometimes.

im running the 8lb findanza with act full disc, the combo took about a week to get used to now its as simple to me as the oem set up , and as for ur act clutch opinion sorry to here that ive run many act clutchs in turbo all motor and nitrous cars as well as exedy and ACT has my thumbs up never gave me a problem and always had a long life.

it should be the other way around man you should be looking at putting a clutch in and then maybee adding the flywheel. when you do a clutch you should resurface your flywheel so in my opinon you should just get a new lightwheight flywheel and clutch set up, save the 40 bucks to get your old flywheel resurfaced, put it to the new unit!
