There's the argument that aftermarket crank pulleys don't have the harmonic dampener that the stock Honda pulley has. The story is that since there is no dampener the pulley will vibrate at high rpm's and eventually cause something to fail. But I've never heard of anyone have engine failure due to an aftermarket pulley. I've heard engine failures caused by improperly installed pulleys though.
I've had an aftermarket pulley in my Prelude for about 5 years and no problems with it so far. I've also had one in my CRX for about 10 years and still no pulley related problems. My S is stock though until I have the time and money to go FI.

I've had ur pulley set on my s for almost 70k miles with no issues. the only thing you need to keep an eye on is the water pump pulley. they can crack between the holes in it. mine did and ur replaced it free. otherwise i wouldn't worry about it. don't think they add much in performance, but they sure do look good!

Yeah i had torqued it to spec when i installed it. still yet to have figured out what caused it to crack. ur said they were going to revise the water pump pulley because they have had others crack.

torque the water pump bolts to spec, don't over do it.

you know, do we even have a harmonic balancer? given that the oil pump on most hondas is driven directly off the crank, as in the snout of it passes through the oil pump, and ours is driven off of a secondary chain...i doubt any vibrations are going to travel through the chain, guides and tensioner enough to shatter a pump.
like i said, im not 100% sure the s2000 is a "harmonic balancer" rather than just a pully
