Has anyone tried to swap an ebay headlight lens to the oem ap1 headlights? Reason I am asking is that I have a brand new pair of ebay headlights that came with the car. I purchased AP1 headlights and did the 3m headlight restore, they look alot better but I want the new look. I want to check to see if anyone has done this kind of swap before. I am very experienced with retrofits and baking headlights so taking them apart is not an issue.

I'm going to say its not going to work... I too considered this, but found a decent deal on an oem "donor" headlight. The lense is extremely comprehensive from honda, it has the black housing portion built into it and mounted apart from the rear base of the headlight... if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I believe the ebay headlight is just a cover lense, and everything else is attached to the base of the headlight
