Default KW Clubsport

my KW CS will be arriving next week. Can i seek feedback from fellow KW users on the following?

1. Should I get the optional top mount or stick to stock? Will very much prefer a smoother ride for DD but not to the extent of compromising its track's performance.

2.Can anyone care to share their settings? I will think there is a optimal standard settings for track. Such as ride height and stuffs.

ok i just found the answer to 2. in the suspension shootout article sometime back. There is a recommended manufacturer settings which is if im running on CSC3 tires.

AM I right to say if im intending to go R compounds on the track I can safely go for a stiffer setup?

1.Begging an answer to this question, Does the aftermarket top mount makes A LOT more noise than stock?

i dont th ink very many people have these coilovers yet as they are relatively new. i too have the stock topmount, but thats because the v3's dont have the option. i would use the topmount it comes with. those coilovers are supposed to be pretty harsh/track suited so i dont think youll notice much more discomfort just from the topmount. i know this is kind of irrelevant, but i didnt notice any more noise with the pillowball mounts on my supra.

Aftermarket top mounts are metal and considered a wear item (they need to be replaced periodically). For any sort of DD, I'd recommend the OEM with rubber bushings.

if you are using the OEM top on the KW clubsport why don't you just buy V3 cause you are defeat the whole purpose of it.

just installed this coilovers. inital impression, its so soft compared to the tein monoflec i was running on ! how on earth is this gonna survive on a high speed F1 track is anyone guess. But in case being the noobie I am and screwed things up, heres my settings, front/rear (0, 075) for the bump and rebound settled at 8 clicks from the stiffest.

have you tried other settings? on my V3's you can really tell a difference from just a few clicks. if its too soft for you, then try adjusting it.

It come with a pre-setting, you should just start with that and why would you set the compression at 0 in the frt??? and 8 clicks from the stiffest on the rebound?? you are almost at full open and again why would you want to do that??
