Default Koni Install Questions

I have a few questions regarding the install of Koni Yellow shocks.

How do you transfer the spring perch from the stock shock to the Koni?

In the thread i saw the rear shocks were not correctly threaded for the stock bolts, has this been fixed?

I plan on using the fronts at the lower perch with my skunk2 springs and the rears at the normal perch, will i need a spring compressor?

Thanks for your time.

-Nick.

The spring perch is just press fit in the shock. Use a piece of wood and tap on it with a hammer. The perch will come right off. There is no problems with the threads. The stock bolts fit no problem. Mine just had some dirt in the threads. I ran the bolts down with some WD40 before I installed the shocks and had no problem.

Spring perches comes right off with a rubber mallet.
It's the rose bushings and the flat metal piece that needs modification, not the perch.
Enjoy!
