K&N Intake Box Insulator

K&N Intake Box Insulator
I recently bit the bullet and picked up a used K&N intake kit from a local board member. I'm not sure what everyone else is doing to insulate their K&N intake box given that there is a big gap between the intake tube and the box itself, but I cut off the rubber trim material that should've gone in the front of the box and used it to wrap around the tube between the box. The length is close to perfect and it fits very well without standing out.
BTW, the intake sounds as good as people say. The filter was beat up pretty well, but I bought a cleaner and oil kit from Amazon and it looks close to new.
What else are people doing to insulate that area of the box?
