Thumbs up Just swapped from black to red seat skins

Just had red oem seat skins put on my stock seats.
I bought the skins used.
There are parts that seem a little loose. The upholsterer said it should tighten over some time and with some use. Do you think that is true? They look pretty good but want them completely tight like the black ones were.

No just the oem seat skins like all the oem seats are wrapped in. You can remove them so swapped some red ones someone was selling on eBay.

either stretched out leather from being old or seat cushion's worn from being old. will cause this to happen. if your seat cushion's are still in good shape and still firm, then the most likely cause is that the red leather seat covers both were all stretched out from say like a 250 plus lbs person. i think once stretched, the leather will stay that way unless tottaly drying out, which then it will start cracking. maybe try to reinstall the leather and see if you can pull the leather tighter on the seat before installing all the hog ring clips

i have put new oem seat covers on these seats and when the leather is new, it is extremely tight to install. after install, leather is has some wrinkles and has to be put in the sun for the leather to stretch out. and soften up. not shrink. hope this helps

Ah ok cool. They have been sitting in a box for a while so maybe just need to form to the seat. I had the upholsterer add some foam to fill it out.
It's not too loose just a couple plases have a looser roll kinda thing.
Payed the place to install them would suck if I gotta take them
off and re do it.
I'm hoping with a little seat time it will look better.

Yeah I'll take some. Pouring out here so gotta wait till it stops. Looked at it earlier and looks better than I remembered I think but I'm hoping just some seat time will help the skins settle more and form the seat a little better b

Snapped a couple of pics.
Not the best pics and all but you can see in some spots it is a little bit loose. Leather is a little dry also so been conditioning them a lot too.\
Let me know if it looks like they were just not tightened completely or what.

They definitely look very loose...not to be negative here but I would say they look like that because they aren't the same quality as the OEM seats. My vote is to go back to the way they were.
