Ok k k..Just to make sure on reseting the ecu:
(1)You put the key in the ignition and turn it to the l position..
(2) Pull out the fuse(the beeping will stop) for 2-5 mins
(3) Put fuse back in and idle the car at 2k for a couple of minutes?
Is that right?

Pull the fuse don't disconnect the battery.
The method I have used in the past;
Locate the fusebox, its above your left foot if you are sitting in your driverseat, the fuse you are looking for is the 2nd fuse from top (3rd slot from top). It's the 7.5A fuse that's right between a 15A and a 7.5A. Its marked "Back Up". Now pull out the fuse with the removal tool (if necessary), wait about 15 seconds with the fuse out. Now you can put the fuse back in and start your car, your ECU should be reset and any CEL you might have had should be cleared.
