J's Racing STB
Hi
I just recently got a J's Racing STB but theres a bracket that prevents it from being installed.
It seems to be welded to the body and can't be removed
can anybody give me some assistance on how to install the stb?
Thanks for the help in advance

The J's strut bar you got probably came with the J's ETD correct? If so, you'll need to either bend that oem bracket downward or take it off by breaking it. Also if you do have the J's ETD, you'll need to drill/cut a hole in your oem heatshield or get the J's heatshield with the hole already cut for it.
Hope that helps,

Or you can message S2Kpuddydad. He sells brackets for the ETD's so you dont have to break anything off. The STB (strut tower bar) is the one that goes across the engine bay and has nothing to do with that piece. I think you have it confused.

^^^No, he (OP) is correct. I think there's two types of J's strut tower bar, a standard one and one with the bracket that also comes with the ETD. In his case, I don't think S2kpuddydad mod will work.

Yeah Knock that right off, take a short flathead screwdriver and a hammer, tap gently on it so you dont let the driver slip and hit the fender. Just use some pliers to twist it off clean.
