Default J's Racing intake questions

hey does anyone know how much a used J's intake generally goes for? I know they cost about $1000.00 + shipping new, what would be a fair price to pick up a used one for?

it is hard for you to find a good used j's racing intake for less than 50% off the original price unless it is damage in some way, regarless of the economy. I say 65-75% resale value is fair game from the msrp.

There is not that many people with them here. J's racing keeps raising the prices on them every couple of years and that brings up the used selling price. Most places are selling them for at least $1100 new now days.

Darn this is $1,300!
Is it really justify to buy this glittering gold?
Does it really help, generate some power or just for looks?
