it might be a little louder than stock but the filter is still enclosed so it won't be that loud. if what your looking for is sound get an aem, fujita or fipk. any of those will give you an orgasmic WOT sound.
i'm not very keen on having it much louder though. actually i was asking on the performance diff like how much hp i can get throughout the rev range.

any comments or dynos will be helpful?

You will see nothing on a dyno, in fact if you do a before and after dyno you'll see how much HP you will lose.

Its hard to say what gains you will have since this intake is designed to suck in air at speeds...if there is no air being sucked in...cars performance will suffer.

Gains will be equivalent to a short ram and Cold air put together, so you will see gains in the low end also in the top end without losing one or the other.

most intakes don't gain more than 2 or 3 hp, and that can easily just be the dyno error. most of the hp comes from switching out the old dirty oem filter (assuming you still have it) to a new clean one.

i think the comptech icebox sounded way better than those. and i used to have the FIPK myself.

I just bought a J's Carbon Snorkel. I got it used for $320 shipped so i jumped on it. I noticed a really nice difference especially once i got on the highway. Get it you won't be disapointed.

^^i think the OP is talking about the full intake, not just the snorkel

not true, the K&N FIPK, AEM V1 and V2 all make the horsepower claims if tested properly.

the s2k runs pretty damn consistent if you know how to test it. nothing more than 1-2 horsepower variance.

when testing on a dyno between runs you must allow 2-3 minutes between runs, to allow the coolant temp to get back down to normal, so that all the runs are equal, (stock ECU giving maximum Timing according Water temp and intake temp)

I have over 50 + dyno pulls on my car, done personally and if you hook up an OBD2 scanner to view the coolant temps, the dyno runs will be very consistent, allowing proper testing of "delta" parts, including intakes.
