The installation direction does not matter but it is easier to adjust if you have the lock nut towards the engine. I didn't even bother with the logo (it's a sticker). You have it installed the same as me.

to answer you question about more info, trojanguy, its a good investment. There is minor differences here and there but don't expect it to be a miracle motor mount or something. J's Racing ETD is kinda pricey, but I'm pretty sure the other brand ETD's works just as well without the JDM pricetag.
