Default J's Racing 70RR

Finally got my J's Racing 70RR thanks to N1 Concepts. Thought I'd share some pics and my impression of the exhaust.

Stock exhaust weighed 62lbs! Got to get rid of it...

The package! Don't let the size of the box fool you. It was weightless.

Zzzzzzing....

Looks:
I personally think the exhaust itself looks great! Dolphin tip is beautiful with the awesome blueness. However, it looks weird on the car. It leaves the rearend looking empty and out of place. I'm hoping a AP1 rear bumper with a single cap will fix it up alittle. Planning on ordering one ASAP and getting it painted.

Sound:
Don't get me wrong, its loud, but it ain't THAT loud! I daily drive my car and I'm wishing it were a little louder. Crusing at 55-60mph, the is almost no drone/exhaust noise! However, accelerating medium to hard, and its gets a lot noisier! 3800rpms and above, its really screams! Sounds great! Idle is quiet suprisingly compared to my Invidia N1 lumpy idle. Cold start up, is another subject itself.

Cold Startup:
Push your car out of the garage before you start it, or things will fall off the walls. But I love it!

Performance:
Weight reduction is the biggest advantage with this exhaust of course. Over 50lbs of weight saving. The exhaust itself weighs 9lbs-ish. I however, did feel an decrease amount of tourqe in lower RPMs. But, pulls harder in higher RPMs. Could just be the placebo effect kicking in...

Quality/Fitment:
Shouldn't be something to worry about but will touch upon it anyway. Welds looks great! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use the middle hanger, or else the piping would hit the underbody of the car. Not sure if anyone else had this problem.

Final impression:
It's cool. Maybe its the long wait or the pricetag, but honestly, I was expecting a little more of something. I don't know...

Titanium bragging rights is awesome, though!

Thank you!

You want louder?! You guys must be deaf. I carried two sets of ear plugs in my S2000 when I had this exhaust. With the top up it was deafening. It sounds great when racing but otherwise it was ridiculous. Trust me you didn't lose any low end torque. It just much louder per the same throttle input.
