Izzy's Hardtop Brackets - Questions
For those who have the Izzy's hardtop brackets, especially for the OEM hardtop:
I have a lot of wind noise and rattles on my OEM hardtop with all stock latches. Wind noise at the front, rattles from the front latches, and a bad rattle from the driver's rear latch.
1. Do these brackets really fix this issue?
2. How hard is it to take the hardtop off if I have the brackets all around, using the "street" rear ones to retain the soft-top?
3. Can I still use the soft top or do the front brackets take away the latch points?
Thanks

1) Yes
2) It is not difficult to do, but it is time consuming. You basically have to remove the brackets- so it would probably take about an hour.
3) You can still use it but you have to reinstall the factory latch.

The brackets are a one piece that eliminate all rattles associated from worn out OEM equipment. These brackets are also highly adjustable unlike the oem equipment where there is no room for adjustment.
Wind noise is common with all hard tops, but is easily fixed.
Let us know if you are interested in the brackets. We have a few sets left

A few things to try before you commit to new brackets.
Shin etsu grease will recondition and "puff" up your seals. That may help with a lot of your wind noise and definitely fix leaking. Also, stuff foam into your stock latches to fix the well known rattle. This thread has the details:

Good luck!
