currently looking for a new exhaust for my ap1. however, there are no posts saying exactly how loud a q300 is. from my knowledge, i heard they are slightly louder than stock in low rpms. but on some youtube videos, they sound a lot louder than stock at lower rpms

also, im wondering what is the sound level compared to a 350z\g35 coupe exhaust. as i own a g35 coupe, I am looking for a tad bit louder exhaust than that and hope the q300 can satisfy my ears just as much.


most people just say what they think the q300 sounds like, does anyone have proof exactly how loud a q300 can get? i am highly interested in ordering one of these exhausts, but just need a little more insight from fellow members.

it is PRETTY loud. a lot louder than a stock g35 exhaust from low rpm to reline.
I just sold my Invidia so I know.

I didn't think it was loud. I had one and I am really sensitive to loud exhausts. It should probably not be too loud for you IMO

I have a comptech for sale I'll sell for cheap. Its really quiet but has a nice low growl when you accelerate. No drone at all while cruising.

I just put one on my ap2 and it has a nice growl. You can hear it but nothing that would be a cop magnet or obnoxious and obstructive to the radio. I would rate it similar to the the g35 infiniti, but a tone deeper and a smidge louder. Its a great exhaust.My other s2000 had a mugen and It was also impressive. Hope this helps!

I have had this exhaust for over a year now. Its great especially with a test pipe. Its almost unnoticeable at low rpms but screams in vtec. Its also a 70mm exhaust so it should yield decent gains for a dual. Its also decently priced.

i would say its louder than the g35 but not far off. my engine is louder at high rpm.

I think you had the invidia v3(correct me if im wrong) ive had the q300 before and its probably alittle louder than the g35 exhaust, honestly from the description of exhaust you are looking for the q300 is perfect imo.
