he didn't say the DBW caused it, look at his post again. "started to use a throttle by wire system and apparently became much more sensitive to this mod".
That is not "started to use a DBW that made it more sensitive".

is everyone (with issues) resetting the ECU after fitting the test pipe? (disconnect the battery for a few minutes) - i was told that this was a must and i've had no issues with my test pipe after doing so.

This is not an original idea but has anyone tried wedging a small piece of steelwool into the top of the 02 sensor bunge? It would seem that a further disruption of exhaust flow over the sensor might solve the problem. The only downside I can imagine is that the wool might hold a unreasonablely high temperture close to the sensor and over time ruin the sensor. Maybe not since the sensor is designed to operate in extreme temp flows anyway. It may or may not work but if I had this problem ,I'd try it .
