Installed new/used exhaust (Apex'i WS)
I bought a used Apex'i WS exhaust from an s2ki.com member. The seller was very honest about it and it had a broken off hanger on the driver side muffler, tarnished and a garbage bag had melted on the pipe.
I made a quick trip to Midas where they welded the hanger on within minutes and new gaskets from Car Quest. I cleaned up som tarnish on the exhaust and installed it (a couple of weeks ago actually) ->
Impressions: This isn't my first Apex'i WS exhaust... I had one on the Prelude before swapping it out for a Mugen one. The WS has a nice tone with bit of bass without any drone or loudness to it. I went for a test drive on the streets and highway with the top down and it never once sounded too abrasive. I think it was a pretty good deal considering I spend have as much than a new one.
Any thoughts on how to have the exhaust tips align up so they aren't 'leaning' more on the right side of the car? As well, the exhaust moves under moderate 'Gs' as I found out the hard way on the track which melted my bumper a bit .
