Innovative Engine Mounts install (w/ J's Header)
Wanted to let you guys know about the install of the Innovative Engine Mounts, is a pain with the J's SPL header. (my review here https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=S...#entry14712761)
The top left mount bolt that bolts to the engine (when facing the engine), can't come out all the way when the header is attached. You must remove the header and shift it aside (no need to take it out of the car).
After that is done, then you can put the mount back in, bolt it down, then bolt back on the header...
Transmission mount:
Removing the OM transmission was a pain. To fit the air gun to the bolts (passenger side nuts actually, the bolts slide out from the driver's side) is a pain, you have to remove the test pipe (or cat) to get at it.
To hold the bolt down, it is a different sized bolt than the nut on other side, so be careful, because I stripped the nut. However, I realized this and found the correct bolt size (14mm I believe), and held it down, then the nut (16mm?) came loose easily (but still using the air gun). Either way, check your sizes before you do anything. Get a light because it's hard to see the bolts.
