Default Ings Rear Bumper Install MY08

Hey guys, I put on my Ings Rear bumper and everything seems to line up great, except for the 2 mounting points on the bottom of the bumper (in between the exhaust) where the 2 push clips are supposed to attach the bumper to the 2 brackets that hang from the frame of the car. The holes are about an inch or so too short and I don't want to break or crack the bumper trying to force it on. Does anyone have any advice? I can try to take some pics tonight if needed but wasnt sure if anyone knew what to do offhand, maybe a bracket, or just trying to push it as hard as I can. Thanks in advance.

If all else fails, you can always zip tie it...

i think it's cause the Ings bumper was made for the AP1....you should look for a post concerning mounting AP1 rear bumpers on an AP2...

The same issue arose for myself when switching from an Ap2 bumper to an Ap1; I simply just cut those little brackets you should be fine..One is talking about these correct?

Just leave it alone, no need to connect it.
