For those saying to run spacers, I don't trust them and have heard a lot of bad stories. I like having wheels sitting hard against my hub.

Spacer is the cheapest way to go. A 9 +45 is flush in the rear. So that's what you should base it off of. You'll need your fenders rolled though.
Also, depending on how low you go, the fronts will max out a little over -4, and the rears get CLOSE to -6. I'm running 17x9 +45 with a 245/40 all around. I'm on a stock alignment, but with -2 camber up front, they'll fit with a roll and a slight pull no problem.
Thanks for this info! My guards are already rolled. So I don't need an aftermarket camber kit to get the front cambered in properly?
Depending on how low you are, no. If you're just killing the wheel gap, you can expect -4.5 rear and close to -3.5 front. The more you slam it, the more camber you gain. But even just being lowered, you shouldn't have a problem pulling a few degrees in the front.

The space horror stories seem few and far in between. I've seen race teams run them but I don't remember which. If you're worried about different offsets, the OEM wheels come with different offsets.

Running a staggered setup will give you a more neutral handling, or slight understeer. Comes that way on AP2's for "safety" reasons. Going with a square setup will make the front grip more, obviously, resulting in some oversteer, but it can be driven harder if you know what you're doing. I've stepped up from a staggered setup, to 245's all around. And boy has it made a world of difference! Probably one of the best things you can do to these cars.

Yeah I'm currently on 245's rear and 235's on the front. Thanks for the info, I think I will remain non staggered if I can get the 17x9+45 to fit up the front, which it sounds like should be easy.

The 17X9 +45's square fit fine upfront with a roll and -3 camber. I'm low, like no finger gap front and rear on this set up with 255's. no rubbing or inner clearance front or rear.

Thanks for the info. My front wheels currently rub the fender liner but that is because I am tucking a little under of an inch of tyre in the rear and my front clears the guard by a paper width.

I will not be running my car this low when I go to a +45. It's not even good at this height anyway. It looks good but it handles like shit.

hey guys not to be that guy... but i'm just tryin to spread the word about mine and my friends youtube channel.. heres the thing, he's into drag racing, i'm into fitment, and stance stuff. i'm big on imports and he's a muscle guy. we'd like to get some feed back on what you want to see, most of our videos are going to be on my project car which has got some pretty tucked wheels. if you would like to know, i'll do a video. just search us on youtube Dragstance.

buy the way i didnt read a lot in the thread but if you want to pull your finders out theres a few easy tricks when you drop your car, you'll need a jack, a hair dryer, and a phone book. place the phone book between the tire and finder when its jacked up.. heat the finder up with the hair dryer and slowly drop it.. a friend of mine did it and it was pretty slick.

Here's how my 17x9 +45 fit with 245/40's on all four corners. About -2 camber front and rear.

Thanks heaps for that.

Yeah that's about the stance I am going for, I'll probably go with RPF1's or something, not sure yet, but will definitely go 17x9 +45.
