my car got broken into yesterday and my soft top got slashed on my 2001 s2k i dont know if i want to get insurance involved does anyone know the price for a new soft top with and without installation.just a regular soft top im not looking to upgrade now

 

i believe a robbins top is about 500ish not quote me on that though im pretty sure theres a thread about that top

 

1. Go to www.topsonline.com and you will find aftermarket tops for $451 and Robbins tops for about $700.

2. Go to the Under the Hood forum and look in the Body section. There is a step by step picture description of how to replace your top yourself.

3. In Florida, there are shops that do top and labor for less than $1,000.
Look in the Florida forum.

 

I was quoted ~800 for the soft top itself (no install). And maybe $1500 for parts & labor. Now's a good time for a hard top!

 

i think topsonline has the cheapest prices that i've seen through soft top searches. i'll be going with the ez-top $511, not black, and do it myself. like masuta23 said, there is a shop in florida that for $900 covers the purchase and install. tempting price and will save a whole lot of azz pain...
