How to: Wire cruise control buttons with an aftermarket wheel

Im guessing you dont have the SRS reel there anymore? Some hub adapters allow it while others dont. Mine allows it, and I wired up the cruise to a little button behind the wheel (the same way I did on my last S2000 a couple years ago). I tested it and the cruise does work. However, when I plug that little harness back in to the SRS real, which is how I have the horn working, the cruise stops working. I will play with it more this weekend and figure it out, but I just thought I would share.

FYI for others, Sparco makes this neat switch/bracket that sits right behind the steering wheel. I've been using this for years now and have hooked it up to the SET cruise control function. The location is perfect and convenient.

So I want to try hooking up just the set button on mine. Does it matter that I still have the srs reel hooked up?
Just for the set button: you send one wire from the orange and the other from the green/red and that's it?
Sorry, not very good with electrical stuff for the most part lol
