How much to repaint front bumper?

You guys are seriously overpaying. First of all, why are you paying them to put the bumper on in the first place? Do it yourself. And $500 to paint it? My shop (which is a good one, been family-owned for 25 years) did mine for $375 and the paint was flawless. They even shaved the Honda emblem holes for me.
Look around...please don't pay that much.

if you are in the emission nazi state, the price should jump up a bit after 08 VOC change over.
there's shop that does good work for decent price but most cheap quote are ticket for another respray.
does it have a flex agent? epoxy sealer? will it blocked? will it have a skim coat? 2k paint? polish/cut after paint? is the shave hole been fixed with bumper weld or it's just sh-t bondo on the holes?
if the answer is no to any of that, your cheap "hook up" is not exactly a value.

Hey Matt, my brother's brother-in-law works at Black Pontiac in Statesville and does all of the painting for me. That's all he's ever done his whole life so he's quite good at it.
If you like, I can get an estimate for you. He repainted my front bumper cover and shaved the license plate holes and "H" emblem too.
Lemme know.
