Default How to install new radio door?

I just got a new radio door from hardtopguy and is clueless how to install this
It is not a full assembly, it's just a door itself
I tried to take out the old ones by forcing it, but couldn't take it out
Anybody know how to install new radio door?

The whole fake vent above the door comes off. pry it with a screw driver but be careful and not scratch anything

^^ What George means is that you have to remove the entire plastic trim piece that houses the radio door. The top vents are part of this trim piece.

one thing I do instead of the taped screw drive is take an allen key like 5 mm put in vent and pull out no way of scratching anything that way

Easiest way to remove the retaining pin is to push a tack nail into the pin from the inside and then grab it with pliers and yank it out.

Obviously the nail has to be just the right size so that the body goes through the pin, but the head of the nail does not (but does fit through the pin shaft). I used one that was part of a picture hanging kit I had and it worked perfectly.

I cut up a metal coat hanger to push the pins out, if you cut it the right way you can kinda make a handle out of it to help apply pressure to the pins. I tried paper clips (which was mentioned in one of the write ups) but couldn't get near enough pressure to get the pins to budge

It's a royal PITA, I almost punched my rear view mirror to hell trying to get that dumb spring back in.
