Very interesting. Just a random question, why do certain states require you to have 2 license plates? It looks like they are just trying to get more money out of you each year. -_-

Do you get front license plate tickets when you are driving or only when you're parked? From my experience, its only when I'm parked. So I keep my front plate off, and just it in the dash whenever I park. So far so good.

good job on the plate, i'm glad florida doesn't require a front plate (or a emissions, or inspections, and they let you tint the front windows)...

Is that legal where you are? Only because it would be barely visible since it's set so far back inside the bumper. I guess it depends on the state and possibly iterpetation of the law.

I folded my plate in half over a counter. The numbers are still visible and there is less air obstruction. The cops don't seem to notice, or care anymore. My last front plate ticket was $212, I ended up paying $106 after showing a picture with the plate on. It is not a cheap ticket.

Just curious, why not remove the front bumper plugs and use the intended mounting location?

I'd rather just pay the 25 dollars since I've only been caught once in 17 years with no front plate.
