I have teins before buT swapped them out for SOS dampers way better quality and almost 90 degree angle when hood is up

I got the eBay ones for like $70 and they have been working perfectly fine. No need to spend $200+

the SOS dampers are on sale right now too. check the vendor FS section.

I had NRG and sold them, they ended up hitting the fenders. I just picked up SOS hood dampers and they're great

FWIW, if you like to wrench on your car, don't get them. All they do is get in the way.

If got the SOS dampers on their year end sale from Chris. Installed it today. Very nice quality and easy install. I went with these as so many owners have them. Get them as so many owners can't be wrong.

I've got a different style damper than the SOS/NRG/etc ones, but I think they make working on the engine so much easier. They open the hood so much more and you don't have the prop stick hanging around anymore. In my garage having the hood open that much more allows more light into the bay as well. Mine were a bit of a PITA, but were worth it.
