Honda CR shift knob part number?

To clear up any confusion...

54102-S2A-C00 = CR shift knob (yellow text)
54102-S2A-E00 = Euro special edition shift knob (exact same as CR but w/ red text)
54102-SMT-E011 = FG Civic Type R shift knob (same as the E00 version but it sits 7mm lower)

The red one has more material at the base that makes it sit up higher. FWIW.

I'm assuming you can only order the CR shift knob with yellow text?

That knob with red lettering is absolutely NOT the same as the CR. It sits higher.

I'm just going to take paint stripper to the lettering. clean with acetone. Then dab some touch up paint with a tooth pick to paint the letters Red.

I ordered a CR knob after reading this thread and installed it today. Honest opinion? 100% better than stock shifter so far. I know it weighs less than the stock ap1 shift knob, but just the size and shape feels soooo much better. I've never used any other shift knob so I cant compare those, but I love it so far and the price was great.
