So if you screw something up - it's not my fault.
The Fog Light
- AP1 rear bumper has the cut out for it. Luckily for me, L-X hooked me up with one that didn't have wires cut out and the plug is still intact.

The Switch with LED Indicator
- you can find it at auto hardware stores

Fortunately for me, I already had the pig tail to connect directly to the fog so all I had to do was connect longer wires (ground & power) so it can go from the rear to the front (pig tail for the plug is purchasable at the dealer! FYI).

I chose to use terminals connector to connect the wires because I put a LED bulb instead of the regular one. The ground (black wire) and power (red/orange) wires must be switched for the LED bulb to work (connect the opposite way, black goes to power while red goes to ground)

Wires go thru the same tube where the license plate plug goes.

Spot to connect ground.

This is to show where you can have the power (red) wire follow thru.

Here is where the power (red) wire comes out, right behind the driver seat near the door.

I wanted to check that everything was working fine before continuing so I plugged everything up. You can see the switch, fuse & on the carpet right by the seat, the relay.

The under dash fuse box has 3 accessory connectors, I chose ON with LIGHTS for the fog light and ON always (constant) for the switch. I assume you can just t-tap the switch power cable with the fog light to the ON with LIGHTS connector (correct me if I'm wrong).

Next is wiring the relay to the switch and I decided that I wanted the switch inside the center console so I ran the wires (ground, power & load) back around behind the seat to the secret compartment area.

Then I went back and started to tape, zip tie, and flex tube the wire together for a cleaner look.

The result with hiding everything inside the flex tube!

There are two screws that hold the pull switch for the trunk, I chose the lower one to hold my relay and the upper one to ground the relay and the ground wire coming from the switch.

FINAL RESULT
- the light output with the LED bulb is about the same as the rear tail light when on.

DO NOT DO THIS
- I made a mistake by not looking further out when it came down to the switch, I wanted to wire it in the rear of the cup section but there is no room behind it for the switch extend out (can't even reinstall the console lol). I should've chosen the FRONT instead!

so this is a third light tied to the rear backup lights? good idea, i thought you were going to use a real fog light, the second attempt are you going to go with yellow or white (rather than red)?

I wanted to use an LED bulb so you can say it ties to the rear light (same output almost). The second attempt is that I will try to use the defrost button from the newer console and wire that switch instead. I can't go yellow or white since the housing for the fog light itself is red.

i was thinking like a $20 foglight set at walmart and using an add-a-circuit to the rear backups, both angled outwards, maybe a little bulky but brighter...

nice job...i need to see it in person...is there any actual use for it or is it more for looks? your car is so low that it probably wont matter to the cars behind you...

For me it's just for look or I guess an additional light to the rear but if I would have chosen to use the OEM bulb it'd be brighter, probably as bright as the brake light or brighter. I've always liked fog light kit from Honda =P. I know you can find cheap fog light set and fabricate like how some truck or trailer has.
