Default HKS Hi-Power

Ok so i just got my hks hi power exhaust put on. Its been about a week or so. Today i noticed that the exhaust on the driver side sticks out about a 1/4 inch more than the passenger side. Is this normal? Any advice or opinions might help. Thanks.

To answer your question, yes it is normal. When I installed mine, one tip stuck out a little and the other hung too low. Basically what I did was put a hose clamp around the hanger and then zip-tied it. That way I could adjust how high or low I wanted the tip to hang. For the tip problem, I bent the exhaust a little bit. Others wouldn't do this...and if I didn't have some experience I wouldn't have either, but I slightly bent the tip coming out from the resonator so it pulled back a little bit.

I know that isn't the easiest answer, so sorry. Btw, good choice...HKS sounds amazing

As you can see...it was pretty even.

I had to play with all the flanges to get a perfect fit but it is possible IMO. The HKS has a lot of sections.

Like I said, clamp the hanger so you can adjust it. Aftermarket will never fit as perfect as factory but that would drive me nuts.

Hey guys thanks for the advice, i greatly appreciate it. Yeah it was driving me nuts, i thought i got the faulty exhaust system that squeezed through its inspection from the factory.

No no...remember that aftermarket will never fit like factory.
