With my SC and the HKS, my car sounds MEAN. HKS sound FTW!

Mine is perfectly fine, but I only had it for a year now.
I'll see how it ages.

Guys, please use your brains.

Like all consumer goods, you are going to hear ONLY about the bad, and seldom about the good. Out of the thousands of HKS exhausts they sold, yes, some of them cracked, and some rusted.

Mine has been on my car for 4 years now, driven through winters, salt, snow, rain, dry summer heat, whatever. It still looks brand new. There is no damage of any sort. I am sorry that the OP is having a problem with his exhaust, but saying it's a POS it simply untrue. All exhausts can crack, and this one is no exception.
Hmm...let me clarify. MY HKS exhaust is a POS. I have patched holes in it multiple times and finally the elbow just before the passenger side muffler let go and I have a huge crack/hole in the exhaust. I should take some pictures of the exhaust and let you guys be the judge.

My exhaust was about 3.5 years old and it looks like an antique...I suppose the weather in the DC area didn't help because it's humid all the time and the winters see a lot of salt/sand, etc...but I had a beater Xterra and now have a CRV. It's not like the thing is driven off road. On top of this, the car has been garaged for the last 1.5 years but I suppose the real damage was done during the first 2 years.

Oh...totally agreed. The SC setup with HKS exhaust makes the car sound pissed. I loved the sound...that's a non-issue.

I guess I just wanted to whine.

I love my HKS, even when it cracked at the elbow. No biggie to get it welded.......and that was 3+ years ago. Been fine since. I've probably put about 95k miles on this exhaust, and I bought it used!!!

HKS is fine.
