Default High flow cat and droneing exhaust

Does anyone have any experience with running a HFC with an exhaust prone to drone. I have a Spoon N1 which is great with the test pipe but undrivable with the oem cat, will a lot of that drone reappear with a hfc?

The HFC won't be much different from an OEM in terms of sound. Just get a test a berk TP and call it a day.

I have a tp on it now, and it's fine, I threw the cat on for an inspection and it was simply undriveable. I don't mind loud, I just can't stand drone.

I have a Berk HFC on an Invidia Q300 exhaust. Before I got the HFC, I had the OEM cat. Going from OEM to the Berk unit decreased drone at low to mid rpms, but increased overall noise at higher rpms. I would expect the trend to continue moving up to a test pipe.

HFC is much better than stock but not as good as TP. I can't stand the smell of a TP so I have a HFC. I think it's a happy medium. All exhausts drones it's just a matter of how much. If you don't mind the smell then just stick with tp.

My sense of smell must be horrible/or I've adapted to it by now lol. It doesn't smell too bad on mine unless it gets really hot out then I could smell it more than usual for some reason.
