If you have other means of lifting the car other than floor jacks with jackstands, the header install will go much smoother, and the new SS header will stay pretty. But if you're like me, and you're a broke ass, and spent every last bit of money on your car, you'll have a couple of jack stands and a floor jack to get the job done. Make sure you replace the exhaust gasket on the end of the header right before the cat; kind of a soft composite metallic gasket of some sort, maybe graphite? But anyways.. if you don't you'll have a nice annoying leak there.

Just my 2 cents.

Car has to be lifted as high as possible. (I had to buy a new jack)
Reach up there and unplug the o2 sensor. Loosen it while the header is still bolted down. Make sure to treat it carefully as it has a ceramic element inside which brakes on impact. Remove the heat shields. Take your time twisting and lowering the stock header out of there. It will come out eventually. New gasket on engine side is recommended but you can reuse the donut on the other side. Raise the new header from the bottom the same way. Tighten the bolts in the specified order and torque to spec.
