Default Has anyone changed there exhaust tips? Recommendations please

I am getting the uk mod done tomorrow. It's got me thinking about new exhaust tips. The factory tips are okay but kind of plain. Has anyone replaced there's? I am going to do some searching but I would also appreciate some pictures and recommendations.

Thank you

I like being understated so they work well for me

That's cool but it's not the point of this thread.

Back in the day guys used to swap the OEM exhaust tips out for the OEM Acura TSX tips. They still look understated but they have a different look.

They will look better on an AP1 than they will on an AP2 due to the size and shape.

A while back I wanted to change the tips on my car, I have a CR exhaust with an ap2 rear bumper (on my ap1 s2k). I went through all of the high quality exhaust tip sources - magnaflow, borla, flowmaster, etc. . I wanted a double-walled slant-cut stainless tip, but the measurement distance of our exhaust mufflers to the rear bumper is hard to fit with over the counter bolt-on exhaust tips. I imagine you could get some custom welded, which might involve cutting the muffler end pipes. I gave up after not being able to find a proper length tip. They aren't cheap so I didn't want to order them unless I was sure the would fit. Inlet pipe diameter and outlet pipe diameter and overall tip sizing is hard to get perfect from what I could see.

last summer i was hoping to do a simple exhaust tip change myself. i never realized akrapovic sold automotive systems until a friend posted pics of his. i contacted an akrapovic dealer but they could not sell the tips to someone unless they had a system of theirs. i was bummed. they look pretty sick imo...

they do not make systems for the s2000.
