Default Hardtopguy clutch kit

Why do the components for his kit make it a "preferred kit" for F/I S2K's????

Hardtopguy clutch kit:

ACT p/p
OEM disc
ACT or S2K flywheel ( i cant decide ACT or AP1)
OEM throwout bearing

ACT clutch kit :

ACT p/p
ACT clutch disc
ACT flywheel
no bearings

supposedly people use the oem disc so itll slip a little so you dont break anything like ppl have done with stronger setups

It's preferred because it retains excellent driving characteristics. The pedal feel is just like stock, except a little more pressure is required to modulate the pedal. That combined with the clamping force and torque capacity, and it's easy to see why it is loved by both NA and FI S2000's.

mines relatively new and its no louder/quieter than when i had a stock one...

i have the ACT PP, ACT 8ish lb. Flywheel, OEM disk and OEM beatings... you can hear it when youre idling and in neutral but its not loud

i didnt experience a discernable difference between the 2. the noise is really nothing to be concerned about, I think you're imagining it to be louder than it is

is this clutch kit suitable for a stock ap1? not looking at increasing power, but my old clutch is dying.
