After a bunch of trial and error no more noise, I tightened the rear brackets while applying be pressure to the top. I bought the rep to replace my soft top due to it being completely being unable. I had been stiching all of my rips for 6 months and it finally just ripped all across the front do I figured south a few extra hundred and get a hardtop

I fought my Forbidden hardtop squeaks and rattles for over two years with small victories just to have them return a week or two later. Ive finally gotten it to be silent after adding another layer of seal between the moulding and edge of the top directly after the side windows. It seems that some of these hardtops bow in a little bit from tightening down the hardware. Over time Ive added the RSG 2 piece rear brackets, izzy front brackets, OEM rear seal and liberal amounts of shin etsu grease. The 2 piece rear really helped give me the adjustment that I needed where one side can be a little loose and the other side super tight. The front brackets really stiffened up the front and theres no wind noise. The OEM rear didnt really help and was more of a pain to install and way more expensive than just a replacement forbidden seal that I would do if I had to do it over again. The extra seal I placed on the moulding at the side is what finally shut it up. Everywhere the top touches the car HAS to have a rubber seal and liberally greased.

This ^ along with new HT strikers silenced my Forbidden Mugen Rep. Your local hardware store should have some rubber weather stripping of various sizes.

Use an inner tube or rubber type seal that fits underneath the rear part of the hardtop behind the side windows on your doors. That's where all the squeaking comes from
