Default Hardtop + Soft top delete, Defroster Wiring Harness question

I'm going to be installing a Ballade hardtop soon, I was checking out the defroster connectors on my hardtop (OEM rear glass) and I noticed they were on the left and right sides of the glass where as the soft top connectors are both on one side (one on top of the other). I know that hardtop guy sells an OEM hardtop harness and I know that I could cut/extend the softtop harness, but I don't prefer either of these options. What I do prefer is an extension such that I could plug into the softtop harness and return to original specifications should I ever decide to go back to the softtop. Does such a thing exist? If not, I have no problem attempting to wire one myself although I have no idea where I would find the parts (connectors mainly, I assume the wire is pretty standard wire)? ALSO, if any of you have pictures I'd really appreciate seeing how the OEM hardtop defroster wires are routed, I assume around the edges of the glass but it would be nice to know for sure.

Thanks
