Ground Control coilovers and stock struts?
Hey guys just got my S2000 about 2 months ago funds are tight i want to drop it but can't afford full coilovers and don't want to just buy springs.
Whats your thoughts on ground control coilovers with stock struts? Is it going to be bouncy like most civics or nice and tight
Thanx for the help

It will ride smooth, depending on spring rates. The GC spring rates for an s2k are soft like stock.
if you did ANY research at all you'll find the spec for both spring(arr...sleeve over)
02-03 is 240F and 230R
GC OTB rate is 340 380
that's 100 up front and 150 up in the rear, some will argue all day that those will not damage the damper and somehow will make the suspension handle "better" but do you own research on that. notice the spring stiffness biased is different too?
again if you did any research at all, you'll find the most popular and proven spring are...
eibach prokit 262F 342R
Tein Stech 297F 364R
Swift 258F 336R
opps..looks like most spring are designed for early ap1's suspension

the spring rates may be soft the stock shocks being compressed will stiffen the ride in a bad way. I have springs on stock shocks and my car rubs wheel wells in the back over big bumps. Also there is A REDICUlous amount of bump steer.

I would avoid running coilovers on stock shocks for a long period of time. The bouncing you speak of is most likely a blown shock issue.
I would suggest running an aftermarket shock with the coilover sleeves, especially if you want to go low.
