Default GReddy SE Dual with Berk 70mm HFC or Test Pipe?

My current set up right now is the GReddy SE Dual with the Berk 70mm HFC. it sounded okay with the OEM Hardtop on the car but when I took off my OEM Hardtop. its kind of too loud for my taste. I was wondering if anybody on here have try with both HFC or Test Pipe with the GReddy SE Dual and can tell me which set up is better? I would be more happy to switch out my HFC for a Test Pipe if that makes the car sound better. thanks

I have 70mm tp with the greddy se duals. I was told it tames the drone down more than the HFC would.

Test pipe will make it even more louder.

It makes it louder but reduces drone. The SE dual has quite a bit of drone imo. I've been thinking of going back to stock but I'll see.

Love the look and sound of it but for that expensive of an exhaust it should have less drone I think. In addition in less than a year all piping was covered in rust except for mufflers and tips. Crap stainless steel used by greddy. The invidia test pipe I installed at the same time still looks like new.

the test pipe will make it louder, but it will move the sound farther to the rear of the car and there will be less drone. The difference between the TP and HFC is very small, however.

source: used to have an SE dual w/ a HFC and a TP.

Just sold my SE duals along with 70mm Berk test pipe. It barley helped the drone. I daily my S and sit in traffic a lot, so I couldn't take it anymore. I do miss the mid range bump the combo gave me though.

I've had my SE Dual for over two years and 14,000 miles, and it's spotless... no rust anywhere.
