The black headers posted look right. Mine was the same way.

Donald, can you provide info on your statement? There was one post about this issue and Bryan replaced the header (IIRC) and most of the issue was due to a faulty exhaust gasket.

i was just making sure that this was the quality to expect from the berk header. not a very smooth inlet there compared to some other brands. just making sure i will get some little gains out of it and wont lose ne thing bc of it.

you should be ok, line up the exhaust gasket to the ports and see...im sure the ports will still be larger than they need to slightly.

I'm not sure why you're showing pictures of welds, when he's talking about inlets...

To the OP: I wouldn't be satisfied with that. Will it do anything (real world)? Probably not much. But if I'm spending X amount of money I expect a proper product. And I wouldn't be satisfied with whatever minimal turbulence you'd get from that. Just my .02

I posted it because from the looks of the op's shaky picks it looks like the welds are inside to tubing not the outside.

Is it possible take a dremel and bore it out? If thats not detrimental to the structural integrity, then it should be a quick fix.
