Default Good beefy differential options?? Puddymod?

Hey Guys,

I had my S2000 recently supercharged by LHT. Now I'm having diff issues! I don't race it, and really don't get on it that much. But I guess an extra 200 HP tests the components.

I'm trying to get ahold of Ben at Puddy Mod. Is he still building S2000 diffs? Any other options?

TIA!

Chris

Other options are overkill and high effort.

Puddymod should solve your issues.

Thanks guys, I have puddymods info, emailed and he's already replied. I'm thinking I'll go with his stage 3 build.

Love that plate "jaymz"!

What are the best / lowest effort other options though?
Puddymod is probably not always the answer, for example for people outside of the USA shipping a diff back and forth is less than ideal.

People have swapped in Ford 9 inch. Also Nissan 350z. But then you are custom fabbing mounts, axles, propshaft. There are some kits around.

For a plug and pay solution, dealing with international shipping seems like less hassle if its not a very high power build that requires something so robust.

Is dropping a stronger aftermarket LSD into a diff a good option? Or is it other parts of the diff that break usually?

I use quaife LSD, no maintenance, like OEM.

I would recommend WPC treating the gears and using 75w140 diff oil.

These are Konig Ampliform, 17"x8". I had LHT install the Skunk 2 Pro C suspension with a little lowering. I was getting some rub on the rears. I had to do a little fender rolling to eliminate the rub.
